There are unique ways to identify the advantages and disadvantages of acrylic boards

The production of high-quality acrylic requires high requirements for raw materials, processes, and machines. The production difficulty and cost are not affordable for ordinary small workshops, especially for cast acrylic panels. Therefore, the price of acrylic is generally more expensive, and a better plate costs thousands of yuan. In order to cater to the pursuit of low prices by some customers, there have been many cheap boards that are shoddy and shoddy in the market. The names are all called acrylic, but only some ordinary organic or composite boards (sandwich boards). Most of them are produced from fully recycled materials at low prices.

Pursuing quality is always the unchanging theme, so how should consumers choose products that are suitable for them in the face of a mixed market? Here are some tips:

1. Observation method: This is the most common and intuitive labor-saving method. A person who has been engaged in this industry for a long time can see at a glance whether the quality of the board is good or bad, whether it is mixed with recycled materials, and whether it is an ordinary organic board. Whether the color is pure, whether the transparent casting plate turns blue under the light, whether there are pits inside the plate, and whether the smell is very pungent. These are all very practical methods.

2. Combustion method: This method is the most effective, whether the quality of the board is up to standard, and whether the dealer uses other sub boards to serve as good boards can be determined by burning a corner with fire. "High quality acrylic panels do not ignite immediately when burned, especially when cast panels are burned, they cannot pull out wires.".

3. Light transmittance method: This method is derived from the characteristics of acrylic light transmittance. It can emit a positive white light through the acrylic plate through the light. If a yellow or blue color is found, it can indicate that the acrylic quality is not correct, because the acrylic plate has a high light transmittance and the light after transmission is white, which does not absorb light color.

4. Adhesion method: Also known as hot melt method, it is used to distinguish between good acrylic materials and bad acrylic materials due to their different adhesiveness. For example, poor quality acrylic materials will stick together after hot melting, making it difficult to separate, while high-quality acrylic materials can be easily separated.

5. Solvent method: It is recommended to put two types of fish tanks made of two materials into two cups filled with acetone, and take them out after 24 hours. Unsaturated resin surface materials will undergo swelling, while acrylic panels will also be observed to be relatively loose in the soaked area while swelling.
